Brooklyn Township, PA, Susquehanna County, makes public records available for inspection and copying in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Right-To-Know Law (Act 3 of 2008). Public records can be reviewed at the Township Municipal Building during the Secretary’s normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding holidays.

Prepayment is required if estimated fees exceed $100.
The Township will make every effort to provide requested public records promptly. Township employees will cooperate with those reviewing or duplicating documents while ensuring the protection of records from theft or modification.
The Township Secretary will review all requests and provide a response within 5 business days, in line with Act 100 of 2002.
If your request is denied, you may file an appeal with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Open Records at the address provided above. Appeals must be submitted in writing within 15 business days of the mailing date of the Township’s denial notice. Appeals should state the grounds on which you assert that the requested record is public and address any reasons for denial provided by the Township.
